I've been cosplaying for over a year now and I learned so much. I was used to cosplaying as shotas, lolis or the main otome girl or whatever girl within a group of guys. 

So it was a huge challenge for me to try out Nanase Haruka from Free! I don't have the height or the exact body/face shape. But I researched about platforms and heel inserts, started working out and dieting, playing basketball and going swimming just so I can shape up/get into a better form for Haru. Even the make up is opposite from what I usually do from girly make up or shota make up. I'm thankful to be able to cosplay with friends who don't mind about any of these. ;; I guess it shows if you really love a character and you have the resolve, you can try cosplaying a character even if you usually don't cosplay that type of character. Because in my Free group, I'm technically the shortest. XD At least, I'm not planning on cosplaying the taller guys. Haru is the second shortest so platforms and heel inserts solve the problem.

I intend on shaping up more so that in the summer, I'll be less of a shota Haru. OTL Right now I really unfortunately look like Haru from middle/elementary school. ;;; At least, my voice and expressions match. 8'D;;

OK. Been 2 years since I last wrote an entry. I went from traditional art, favouriting art and now transitioning to a cosplay account. Still waiting for my friend to pass me along the Madoka photos he took of me at my campus for a photo shoot project.

I just started cosplay (serious cosplay) in July when there were literally events every Saturday in that month. Then in August there were 2 cons. =w=; Gotta admit, there was a point where I got so lazy I went to the location to do my make up and wore my wig on the skytrain.

Once I got into cosplay, the potential cosplay list seems endless...But hey, it's really fun~

I realized that I'll be cosplaying at least once a month from now on since the amount of events seemed to have increased exponentially this year. Still quite new at cosplay and learning new things every time.

Derp. I really need to sleep.

Yeah----haven't been on DA for months-----been at formspring-------but really----I should try to draw again-----sighs--------since finals are soon, I guess my stress and pressure is fueling my art instincts RAWR!!!! Who even reads these or cares----no one I guess----will now attempt to draw an epic G and Gokudera fanart due to chapter 316 that is the epicness of all chapters---due to the fact that "we"(my RP as Goku and Ojiisan who RPs G with my Goku) somehow predicted it---coincidence much? MAYBE MY GOKU IS JUST CANON THAT WAY XDDDD!         OTL WHY CAN'T I DRAW G. BUT I CAN DRAW GOKUDERA DX;;;?! DON'T THEY JUST LOOK SIMILAR?! MAYBE I DON'T WANT TO SHAME G?!

For this past week and today I was very fortunate ^^. I got into my japanese class where I was on the waiting list of 7ppl xD! I love my class and sensei! Everyone is so friendly .

Then I got an awesome surprise present from my wonderful friend ^^! I was hyperventilating when I learned about it and received it! Literally couldn't tear my eyes away from it! You could prbly guess that it has something to do with reborn and gokudera .....I got a Gokudera clear file with the design that I've been looking for ages >////<!!!!! He's smiling on the file hehehe~ But he's prbly smiling at Tsuna, since he reserves his smile for Tsuna only  :3.

Gokudera went from 3rd place in the precious popular poll to 4th...while Tsuna 1--->2, Hibari-san 2---->1, Mukuro 4---->3...and why is Yamamoto 5th?! Usually he's 7th.....Squalo 6th? that sort of makes sense....And G made it on the list!!!!! Ha! Take that Alaude! But 16th....that's 4x4 of Gokudera's place =___= and not next to his BBF Primo....Woah, Fran is pretty popular for a chara that only showed up in one arc.....well, Mukuro barely appears and yet he can still get a high standing orz....I guess it has something to do with "fav pairings...." 182769, 5980 (ewww), 80S, SX, then after Xanxus it loses the "pairings". And TYL!Vongola<current Vongola? The heck...while TYL!Varia>Varia o___0.....I seriously think that has sth to do with that OVA......Gokudera isn't ranked beside his beloved Tenth anymore ;___;....Oh well more Gokudera for me xD! You guys can have Hibari all you want.

But with fortune, comes misfortune.....I missed my bus by literally seconds ;___;......and it took me longer to come home today....why did it have to rain ><? Plus I have so much work to do....ok, I'll get off and do it now.....

And I wonder.....how many people actually read my rants? >__>....Hey, I'm a creeper/lurker/stalker too, but I announce it(?) (That's right C2......I know you look at my DA =____= )

And if you follow my LJ, you prbly will read repeats of these journals in my DA...but they're shorter and more art-related I guess? (What art related stuff did I talk about here LOL). Gotta work on drawing guy's clothing, posture and etc.....

It was Gokudera's birthday yesterday and I didn't finish his present ;__;....Instead I was lazy by showing what I learned in Japanese, posted an old sketch and an unfinished fanart of Gokudera and G on LJ......I fail.....I think I can finish it soon......Buon compleanno Gokudera! (I posted about his birthday/kept screaming about like a zillion times by now )
